ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING (AGBM) REPORT

The Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) of Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh, for the academic year 2026 was held on 4 July 2026 in the school auditorium from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The meeting was conducted by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), and the auditorium was filled with enthusiastic parents. The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Principal, the School Manager, the Guest of Honour Mr. Gur K. Serai, and the Sisters. Mr. Gur K. Serai, Director of Sutlej Schools, was accorded a warm welcome. 

The Principal, the Head of the PTA, presented the Annual School Report for the academic year 2025–2026, highlighting the school's significant achievements and milestones. The Financial Report was presented by Ms. Indu Lakra. The Class X and Class XII Board Toppers and High Achievers of 2026 were felicitated with certificates and trophies by the Principal and the School Manager in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

The School magazine was released by the Principal, Sr Shanta Fernandes, Sisters and the Editorial Club of the School. Mr. Gur K. Serai then delivered an inspiring and insightful address to the parents on the important role of positive parenting in nurturing confident, responsible, and well-rounded children. His practical guidance and thought-provoking insights were warmly appreciated by the audience.

The meeting concluded with the Vote of Thanks. Thereafter, parents attended the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) with their children. The ECO Club and The NSS wing of the school celebrated the Van Mahotsav to promote environmental awareness. Parents were presented with a sapling each, encouraging them to contribute towards a greener and more sustainable future.
