Carmel Convent School,  celebrated its Annual Sports Day, 'Beyond the Finish Line - The Victory is in the Journey' on  November 5, 2026, with great fervour and enthusiasm. Sh. Nitish Singla, Director School Education, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.  The Guest of Honour for the event was Mr Harpal Singh Cheema , honorable Finance Minister of Punjab. The  event commenced with presentation of the Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest followed by the March Past - 'Stride with Pride' by  the students of Class V.  Students of the Primary  presented splendid drills with colourful props such as  colourful shapes, hoola hoops, bats and  balls. These were interspersed with thrilling races for all classes.  Students from different classes of Primary wing  exhibited Taekwondo self defence skills. The entire programme was orchestrated by the school band with spell binding performance. On this occasion, the students were felicitated for their outstanding performances in various sports at the international & national level. The chief guest in his address appreciated the performances and congratulated the school community for organising  a wonderful programme to encourage students to take  part in physical activities & sports. The programme concluded with a Spectacular Grand Finale and singing of National Anthem.
