Report on CPR Training Programme

A CPR Training and Mass Awareness Programme was organised on 21 July 2026 for classes 9th to 12th to create awareness about the importance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and basic life-saving techniques.

The programme was conducted with the support of Ms. Poonam Verma, Mr. Dinesh Lawat, Ms. Manpreet Kaur, and Ms. Seema, from GMCH 32 , Chandigarh who shared their valuable knowledge and expertise with the participants. The session focused on educating everyone about how to respond effectively during a medical emergency, particularly when a person is unconscious or not breathing normally.The resource persons explained the importance of acting quickly in an emergency and demonstrated the correct procedure for performing CPR. The participants were also guided through practical demonstrations, enabling them to understand the appropriate steps and techniques involved in providing immediate assistance until professional medical help arrives.The programme was highly informative and interactive. It helped students and staff develop greater confidence and awareness about responding to cardiac emergencies. The session also highlighted the importance of staying calm, seeking emergency medical assistance, and providing timely first aid.
