The workshop on Social Emotional Learning was facilitated by Dr Vibha Ray and Mrs Sneh Lata. The sessions were highly insightful and interactive, helping teachers understand the importance of emotional learning in students’ holistic development. Through meaningful discussions and engaging activities, the resource persons highlighted how emotional awareness, empathy, and self-regulation can empower students to navigate challenges and build positive relationships.
The sessions on Values Education were conducted by Ms Shivani Vashist and Ms Gurpreet Kaur, who engaged the participating teachers through a variety of thought-provoking activities. The sessions emphasised the significant role of values in the teaching-learning process and the importance of nurturing integrity, respect, empathy, and responsibility among students.
The workshops were both informative and practical, equipping teachers with valuable perspectives to better understand and support students who may be experiencing emotional, social, or behavioural challenges in the classroom.
The participating teachers appreciated the enriching sessions and found them extremely helpful in strengthening their ability to create a more empathetic, inclusive, and value-driven learning environment.
