A Career Guidance session was organized for the students of Classes XI and XII on 12 August 2026 in the school auditorium. The session was conducted by Mr. Aditya Wakhlu from Team CLAT Possible, Chandigarh. Mr. Wakhlu is an accomplished law aspirant who secured All India Rank 29 in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in 2014 and Rank 110 in the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET).
The session aimed to provide students with meaningful insights into law as a career option and to help them make informed career choices based on their aptitude, interests, abilities, and long-term aspirations.
Mr. Wakhlu shared his knowledge and experience of the legal profession, highlighting the diverse opportunities available in the field of law. He explained the role of lawyers in presenting and representing arguments and emphasized that problem-solving, logical reasoning, critical thinking, and effective communication are essential skills for aspiring legal professionals. Through various legal arguments and real-life examples, he encouraged students to analyse situations thoughtfully and develop a questioning and analytical approach.
The speaker also familiarized students with leading law schools and law firms, the career pathways available after pursuing legal education, and the professional and financial prospects associated with the legal profession. He stressed that choosing law should be a thoughtful decision aligned with one’s interests, abilities, and future goals rather than being influenced solely by external factors.
A key takeaway from the session was the importance of early and informed career planning. Students were encouraged to understand their strengths, explore career options, and prepare themselves systematically for future opportunities.
The programme concluded with students gaining a broader perspective on the field of law and the skills required to pursue it successfully. The session proved to be a valuable and enriching learning experience, inspiring students to approach their career choices with greater awareness, confidence, and responsibility.
