Carmel Convent School joyfully celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on 15th July in the school auditorium with great devotion and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with a solemn prayer service, invoking God's blessings on the entire school community. A graceful prayer dance created a serene and spiritual atmosphere, setting the tone for the day's celebrations.

A captivating short film on Prophet Elijah, produced by the students of Class XI, was showcased during the programme. It highlighted his unwavering faith, courage, and devotion to God, inspiring the audience with his remarkable life.

Students presented a meaningful skit highlighting the teachings of Mother Mary, emphasizing the virtues of honesty, forgiveness, and humility. The thought-provoking performance inspired everyone to imbibe these timeless values in their daily lives. Adding a vibrant touch to the programme, the students of Class XI enthralled the audience with an energetic and entertaining dance performance, which was warmly appreciated by all.

The gathering was addressed by the Principal, Sr. Shanta Fernandes, who reflected on the significance of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. In her inspiring message, she encouraged students and staff to follow Mother Mary's example of faith, compassion, humility, and selfless service,.

As part of the celebrations, a Bulletin Board Competition based on the teachings of Mother Mary was organized. Students from different classes showcased their creativity and understanding through beautifully designed bulletin boards that reflected Mary's virtues and values, making the competition both inspiring and educational.

At 11:30 a.m., a Holy Mass was celebrated in the school auditorium for the teaching and non-teaching staff. The day's celebrations concluded with a fellowship lunch, fostering a spirit of unity, gratitude, and togetherness among the staff.
