On 8^th May 2026,Carmel Convent School solemnly conducted a special morning assembly on the success of Operation Sindoor first anniversary to honour the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces. During the assembly, a motivational address was delivered by ANO Preeti Swami for the students of Classes VI to XII, highlighting the importance of patriotism, discipline, unity, and the bravery displayed by our soldiers during Operation Sindoor.

The assembly was attended by students, NCC cadets, staff members, and the school Principal, Sister Shanta Fernandes. On this proud occasion, the National Flag was ceremoniously hoisted, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana, with great respect and patriotic spirit by all present. The event inspired students to develop love and respect for the nation and its brave soldiers.
