The Carmel community celebrated three significant occasions on 1^st October 2026 —the Birthday of our Venerable Mother Veronica, the Feast of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the patroness of the Carmel Blossoms, and Gandhi Jayanti. The celebrations were organized by the Mother Veronica Committee and the Peace and Wellness Committee.

The Mother Veronica Committee, centred on the theme “Light,” presented a graceful dance and a deeply moving skit portraying the inspiring life and message of Mother Veronica. An accompanying PPT presentation further enhanced the performance.

The Peace and Wellness Committee presented a prayer service in which students representing different religious backgrounds came together in prayer on the theme of “Peace.” This was followed by a powerful skit depicting Mahatma Gandhi’s historic Dandi March, accompanied by an uplifting song.
