With the noble thought of spreading kindness and compassion, inspired by the quote of Princess Diana, the Ekta Squad girls, along with Monika Ma’am and Anupriya Ma’am, visited the orphanage “Ashiana Snehalaya for Girls” on December 4, 2025.

Before the visit, a donation drive was organised in our school. Students from various classes generously contributed useful items such as blankets, scarves, mufflers, crayons, socks, biscuits, and snacks.

On reaching the orphanage, the students and teachers were warmly welcomed by the children and the staff of the orphanage. The visit began with a prayer session followed by the melodious group singing of “Itni Shakti Hume Dena Daata.” The children also showed  their beautiful drawings and artwork.

The best part of the visit was the time spent playing, interacting, and laughing with the children. Their smiling faces filled our hearts with joy. After that, the donated items were distributed among the children, and they accepted them with great happiness and gratitude.

This visit was a humbling and eye-opening experience for all of us. It made us realise how blessed we are and taught us the importance of empathy, sharing, gratitude, and social responsibility. We returned with heavy hearts but also with inspiration to do more for society.
