From July 27 to 31, 2026, Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh, hosted the fifth edition of Credence, a five-day inter-school extravaganza that celebrated creativity, competition and collaboration.

Credence V commenced on July 27, 2026, with a grand opening ceremony. The Chief Guest, Ms. Shipra Bansal, Chairman, CCPCR, was ceremoniously escorted to the auditorium by the school band. In her address, she fondly recalled her school days and encouraged students to embrace every opportunity for learning and growth, particularly through co-curricular activities. Principal Sister Shanta Fernandes formally declared the event open.

Day 1 witnessed a vibrant blend of languages, history, dance and filmmaking through the competitions Cultural Rhythms of India and Verses of Vision.

Day 2 provided a platform for scientific creativity, innovation and artistic expression. Students showcased their talents in Dramatisation, Hackathon, Model Making and T-Shirt Painting, reflecting imagination, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Day 3 highlighted the art of storytelling through Katha-Vachan, alongside remarkable creativity in Cardboard Craft, Pot to Plant and Traditional Art competitions.

Day 4 resonated with melodious performances as participants captivated the audience in Mehfil-e-Noor, the Qawwali Singing Competition, followed by energetic performances in the Western Music Competition, Youth Empowerment.

Day 5 concluded the competitive events on a vibrant note with spirited performances in the Punjabi Folk Dance (Giddha) Competition, filling the atmosphere with colour, rhythm and enthusiasm.

The closing ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. Sonal Chawla as the Chief Guest. Congratulating all the participants for their outstanding performances, she presented the Overall Championship Trophy to St. Soldier's International School, Chandigarh. Principal Sister Shanta Fernandes expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the participants, teachers, judges and organisers for making Credence V a grand success and formally declared the event closed. A spirited Bhangra performance brought the curtain down on an exhilarating five-day celebration of talent, learning and camaraderie.
