The English Department hosted “Voices & Expressions,” an exhilarating inter-class competition on April 24, 2026, in the school auditorium. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Principal and the Sisters. The Guest of Honour for the occasion was Sr. Swati, the former Principal. The competition displayed the linguistic prowess and creative flair of students from Classes 6 to 10, providing young orators with a dynamic platform to step out of their comfort zones and command the stage.

It was thoughtfully structured into diverse categories, ensuring that participants could explore and express their talents across a range of engaging formats.

  • Classes 6 & 7- Personified characters & breathed life into Ruskin Bond and Sudha Murthy characters, displaying remarkable imagination and empathy.
  • Class 8  displayed   a rigorous test of logic and quick thinking, in 'Turncoat'.  
  • Class 9  stepped up in,  Stand-Up Comedy, exhibiting sharp wit and observational humor taking center stage, proving that timing is just as important as vocabulary.
  • Class 10 students delivered TED Talk- with thought provoking presentations on contemporary issues, mirroring the sophistication of thought.

The participants were evaluated on a comprehensive criteria, including, content depth, delivery style, and stage presence.

The Principal lauded the students for their "brilliant performance and infectious confidence," noting the high caliber of preparation across all levels. The event reached its crescendo with a special prize distribution ceremony. Participants were honored with certificates and trophies awarded by our esteemed guest, the former Principal Sr. Swati, whose presence added a touch of grace to the occasion. One student remarked- "It seemed Rusty was actually there-alive." The students left the auditorium, educated, entertained and enthralled.
