Mount Carmel Feast Day was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in the school on July 15, 2026. The festivities began with a meaningful programme in the school auditorium, presented by the students of Class III.
The celebration commenced with a prayer service that created an atmosphere of reverence and gratitude. A beautiful tableau depicting the life of Mother Mary highlighted her faith, courage, and unwavering trust in God through the joys and trials of her life. The Primary School Choir enriched the occasion with melodious hymns, followed by graceful dance performances that added colour and joy to the celebration.
Addressing the gathering, our respected Principal, Sr. Shanta Fernandes, appreciated the students for their commendable performances and congratulated the teachers for their sincere efforts and dedication in organising the programme.
To continue the festive spirit, competitions were organised for students of Classes I to V. The students showcased their creativity and artistic talent by designing vibrant displays based on the theme of Mount Carmel and the virtues of Mother Mary. The best entries were recognised, and the winners were felicitated for their outstanding work.
The celebration concluded on a joyful and prayerful note, inspiring everyone to imbibe the values of faith, love, humility, and service exemplified by Mother Mary.
