The Health and Wellness Club organized a vibrant and engaging Healthy Food Competition for students of Classes VI and VII on 29th April 2026 in the Mathematics Lab. The event aimed to promote awareness about healthy eating while encouraging creativity and culinary skills among students. Each section was assigned a unique theme, which added variety and excitement to the competition.
Class VI students displayed remarkable enthusiasm. Class VI A prepared an assortment of fresh and nutritious salads, including Russian, Mediterranean, Greek, Cobb, and kale and quinoa varieties. Class VI B presented innovative dishes using different types of bread, featuring a delightful range of sandwiches and creative preparations. Class VI C impressed the judges with their wholesome and flavourful wraps, such as veggie and hummus wraps, paneer wraps, Greek wraps, and Chinese-style wraps.
Students of Class VII matched this enthusiasm with equal creativity. Class VII A showcased a variety of rice-based dishes, emphasizing both taste and presentation. Class VII B focused on nutritious millet-based recipes, highlighting the health benefits and versatility of millets. Class VII C presented an appealing assortment of fruit-based creations, including a dish, a refreshing beverage, and a dessert.
The event was graced by the Principal and the Sisters, who witnessed the presentations and appreciated the students’ efforts, creativity, and awareness of healthy food choices. The results were announced amidst great excitement and were met with cheer and appreciation by all. Overall, the competition was a great success, fostering teamwork, innovation, and a deeper understanding of nutritious eating habits among students.
