On August 14^th 2025, students and staff of the Primary and Pre-primary wing commemorated and celebrated India's 79^th Independence Day in the school auditorium with great patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The tricolour decorations and costumes created a vibrant and festive atmosphere all around. The programme commenced with cordial greetings and a welcome address.  This was followed by the lighting of the Divine Lamp by the School Manager Sr. Isabel Fernandes, School Principal Sr. Shanta Fernandes, Primary Incharge Sr. Shanti, Pre-primary Incharge Sr. Meeta and Sr. Lizanne.  A soulful prayer service was conducted to honour our country.  This was followed by a soulful hymn. A speech was given by a student highlighting the significance of the day and paying tribute to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. Students showcased their talents through a plethora of cultural performances like personification of freedom fighters, beautiful regional dances, medley of patriotic songs, and the rhythmic and energetic bhangra. Towards the end, the school Principal Sr. Shanta Fernandes gave an inspiring speech bringing out the importance of this significant day and it's relevance in today's time. She appreciated the programme and congratulated all the participants for their outstanding performances. The programme ended with the National Anthem sung by all present there.
