On the occasion of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, Health and Wellness club organized a Badge Making Competition along with a special Intercom Assembly to spread awareness about humanitarian values and the spirit of service on May 8, 2026.
Students shared important information about the significance of the day and highlighted the contributions of Henry Dunant, the founder of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Thought-provoking messages, speeches, thoughts and pledge were delivered to inspire students to adopt values like kindness, compassion, and helping others in times of need.
The objective of the Badge Making Competition was to encourage students of class 3 to express their understanding of humanitarian values through creative badge designs. The badges designed by the students beautifully reflected themes like compassion, unity, helping others, and global peace. Common elements included the red cross symbol, hearts, and helping hands.
The event concluded with a message emphasizing the importance of kindness, service, and helping those in need. Overall, the competition was informative, inspiring, and successful in spreading awareness about the noble work of the Red Cross.
