The students of Carmel Convent School,  celebrated Teacher’s Day with great fervour, enthusiasm and exuberance, on the September 3, 2026. The Auditorium was beautifully adorned by the students, who warmly welcomed their teachers to the grand celebrations.

The programme commenced with an invocation seeking the Almighty’s blessings and presence, followed by an entertaining and lively skit that set the tone for the festivities. Original poetry, heartfelt thanksgiving speeches, melodious renditions and foot-tapping dances filled the auditorium with joy, warmth and merriment, making the occasion truly memorable.

The Vote of Thanks, was proposed by Ma'am Ritu Yadav , who expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the School Management and the School Cabinet for their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in making the celebrations a resounding success.

The Principal, Sr. Shanta Fernandes, lauded the School Cabinet for going the extra mile and working with remarkable dedication to make the week-long Teacher’s Day celebrations a grand and memorable affair. Her words of appreciation acknowledged the students’ initiative, teamwork and wholehearted contribution to honouring their teachers. 
The students in each class then spent an hour hoiring their teachers. The day concluded with all hearts filled gratitude and love.

On September 5, 2026, the School Management and the PTA organised a special Teacher’s Day celebration for the teachers at Hotel Ambrose. The gathering provided the teachers with an opportunity to relax, enjoy fun-filled activities and spend quality time together. The celebration was further enhanced by a delightful lunch, making the occasion a memorable and enjoyable tribute to the teachers for their dedication and invaluable contribution to the school.
