Carmel Convent School celebrated Van Mahotsav with great enthusiasm through a series of eco-friendly activities organized by the Eco Club. These activities aimed to spread awareness about environmental conservation, encourage tree plantation, and inspire students, parents, and staff to contribute towards a greener and healthier future.
On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, the Eco Club organized a plant sapling distribution drive after the AGM and PTM. Parents visiting the school were presented with plant saplings to encourage tree plantation and environmental conservation. NSS and Eco Club members actively participated in the initiative. The parents appreciated the effort and interacted enthusiastically with the volunteers. The activity successfully spread the message of protecting nature and creating greener future.
Tree Sapling Plantation
A tree plantation drive was conducted in the school campus as part of the Van Mahotsav celebrations. School Principal along with, Eco Club members, and NSS volunteers planted Anjeer (Fig) and Chikoo (Sapota) saplings to promote a greener environment.
Seed Ball Making
A seed ball making activity was organized for the primary wing students under the guidance of the Principal, teachers, and Eco Club members. Students enthusiastically used the fruit, vegetables and flower seeds to prepare seed balls. Teachers told them the importance of seed ball and how its used. They enjoyed the hands-on activity, learned about seed conservation, and happily took their seed balls home.
