A session on Computational Thinking was conducted for high school teachers by Mr. Navjot on 16 May 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Computer Lab. The workshop was interactive and began with engaging ice-breaking activities that created a positive learning environment.
Teachers gained insights into key concepts such as decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, algorithm design, data analysis, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in education. The session also highlighted the importance of informing students that AI can sometimes “hallucinate” and generate incorrect information, making verification and critical thinking essential.
Various generative AI tools for appropriate content creation and cognitive skill development were also introduced to help teachers enhance classroom teaching and learning practices.
