Two capacity building sessions were held in December for teachers, the first one was about “Fostering Positive Teacher–Student Relationships” and it was conducted on 11th December 2025. The resource person for the session was Ms. Harpriya Singh, Assistant Professor of Psychology, DAV College, Chandigarh, an alumna of Carmel and an active CESA member.
Ms. Harpriya highlighted the importance of empathy, effective communication, and emotional connection in building healthy teacher–student relationships. She emphasized how a supportive classroom environment enhances students’ academic performance, behavior, and emotional well-being.
The second session “National Curriculum Framework(NCF) 2023” was organized by CBSE on December 17, 2025. The resource persons were Mrs. Urvashi Kakkar and Mr Madan Gopal  Sharma. The session highlighted the importance of NCF and its implementation for the vision of NEP 2020. The teachers took part in various activities and presentations during this day long session.

Both the sessions were interactive and insightful, encouraging teachers to reflect on their classroom practices and adopt student-centered approaches.
