In a glittering function organized at Tagore Theatre on February 27, 2026, the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) felicitated the participants of various schools who won prizes in several competitions organized last year. On this occasion the Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria gave the second prize to the students of Carmel Convent school for their performance in a Nukkad Natak. In his speech the Governor praised the efforts of the students, he also congratulated the teachers and parents for encouraging them.
