Diwali was celebrated at Carmel on 17th October 2025; however, the preparations started with week-long activities leading up to the final day.  Carmelites decked up the hallways and classrooms with some masterpieces of art in the form of Diyas and Rangolis. Classes VIII to X participated in Diya and Rangoli making competition. On the 17^th of October, class VIII presented a short but meaningful program. After the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, the program began with prayers from various holy scriptures, followed by hymns and a prayer dance. A short play showcased the importance of family values like respecting elders, helping parents, and being compassionate to the less privileged. The students presented some well-choreographed moves with Garba, Dandiya, and Bhangra dances. Speaking on this occasion, Principal Sister Shanta Fernandes appreciated the efforts of the students and class teachers of class VIII for a well-put-together program. She wished all the students, staff, and their families a happy Diwali. She also gave away trophies to the winners of Credence IV, as they were given only certificates during the prize distribution in July(being a host school). As a token of appreciation, the school cabinet was also given trophies and certificates for their contribution during Credence IV.
