On 1st October 2025, after serving the institution for almost four decades, Ma’am Sonia and Ma’am Lovey bid adieu to Carmel Convent School. They were given a befitting farewell through prayers, intentions, songs, presentations, videos and heartfelt speeches. Messages poured in for them from alumni, as generations of Carmelites who had been their students expressed their love and gratitude for these stalwarts. In their farewell speeches, both teachers thanked all the principals they had worked with, for their guidance and support. They expressed their gratitude and love to the colleagues who had helped them through tough times. Most of all, they were grateful to the students who were a big part of their journey as a teacher and made it all the more meaningful.
