Carmel Convent school organised a felicitation ceremony on 9 February 2026 to honour Cadet Aryata Ahuja, of class IX, for her outstanding achievement in Republic Day Camp 2026 held at New Delhi in January 2026. She was conferred the prestigious "Best Cadet Award" by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. The Principal, Sr.  Shanta Fernandes  accorded a warm welcome ceremony to Cadet Aryata and her proud parents, Dr. Chirag Katoch Ahuja and Dr. Deeksha Ahuja who were felicitated for their unwavering support amidst resounding applause.  As a mark of honour, Cadet Aryata was presented with a ceremonial shawl and a bouquet of flowers.The Associate NCC Officer Preeti Swami, who had also represented at Republic Day Camp 2026, was welcomed with a great cheer. The  Director General NCC, Lt. General Virendra Vats, awarded ANO Preeti Swami with a medallion on 29th January 2026 for her excellence in performing her duties. 

Sharing her enriching experiences, Aryata Ahuja,  highlighted the values of diligence, discipline, and determination, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the institution for nurturing her potential.

The Principal, Sr. Shanta Fernandes lauded Aryata's perseverance and commended the relentless efforts of her mentors, ANO Preeti Swami and GCA Ruchi Bala. The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
