On November 24, a colourful gastronomic event La cuisine française was organised by the French Department. The students of Classes 9 and 10 showcased the rich mosaic of French food and culture. As part of their Subject Enrichment Activity, the students prepared a wide variety of authentic French dishes and filled the place with vibrancy.
The event was graced by Sr. Diane, the Councillor for Education and Sr. Namika, Provincial Superior Secretary of Carmel Convent School. Their presence added significance to the event. The event was also witnessed by the school management and the teachers who joined in the celebration, joyfully tasting and appreciating the students' culinary creations-from quiches and croissants to crêpes, brownies, and freshly baked sandwiches.
The French room buzzed with excitement as lively French music played and everyone learned about the origin of each dish displayed. The event beautifully showcased students’ creativity, their talent and enthusiasm while fostering cultural appreciation among the whole school community.
