Grand Finale of Bharatanatyam Workshop Held at Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh
Chandigarh, June 5: Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, Chandigarh, witnessed a spectacular celebration of art and culture as the grand finale of a 12-day Bharatanatyam workshop was held on June 5. Around 60 students participated in the programme, showcasing their talent, dedication, and love for Indian classical dance.
The workshop was conducted by renowned dance gurus and choreographers Rahul Gupta and Nandini Gupta, who trained the students in the fundamentals of Bharatanatyam, expressions, rhythm, posture, and stage performance. The concluding event featured a captivating blend of classical and semi-classical dance presentations.
Dressed in vibrant traditional costumes, the young dancers mesmerized the audience with their graceful movements, expressive performances, and synchronized choreography. Their confidence and artistic excellence reflected the hard work and dedication put in during the workshop.
The event was graced by Principal Sr. Shanta Fernandes and School Manager Sr. Isabel Fernandes, who highly appreciated the students for their outstanding performances and congratulated the mentors for their sincere efforts in nurturing young talent.
Parents and family members attended the grand finale in large numbers and were deeply impressed by the performances. The programme concluded with a standing ovation from the audience, expressing their admiration and appreciation for the students and instructors. Many parents expressed their happiness and pride in witnessing such a wonderful cultural presentation.
