Carmel Convent School, Pre Primary, celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great joy and reverence on 12th September 2025. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of the School Manager Sister Isabel, the Principal, Sister Shanta and the Pre-Primary In-charge, Sister Meeta, whose guidance and blessings added warmth to the celebration. The programme commenced with a prayer dance invoking divine blessings, followed by the lighting of the lamp ceremony symbolizing knowledge and wisdom.
The day’s itinerary included a variety of vibrant presentations by the little Carmelites:
• Nursery Poem Presentations that brought smiles to every face.
• English Play showcasing values of love and respect for elders.
• Recitation and Dance Performances that highlighted the innocence and creativity
of the children.
• Qawwali, Taekwondo/yoga performance and Skating display, which were applauded for their energy and enthusiasm.
The grandparents were overwhelmed with joy and pride as they watched heir grandchildren perform with confidence and affection. The programme concluded with words of appreciation from the dignitaries, who encouraged the children to always cherish and respect their grandparents. The event was a heartwarming reminder of the invaluable role grandparents play in nurturing values, traditions, and unconditional love.
