The Pre-Primary Wing celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm on 14 August 2026. The celebration was a beautiful blend of prayer, patriotism, creativity and discipline, bringing alive the spirit of freedom and national pride among our young learners.

The programme commenced with a prayer, seeking God’s blessings for our nation and its people. This was followed by a graceful prayer dance, which created an atmosphere of devotion and serenity.

The young learners then presented a vibrant patriotic dance, filling the gathering with energy and love for the motherland. A meaningful role play on freedom fighters introduced the children to the courage, sacrifice and determination of the great heroes who contributed to India’s freedom.

Adding excitement and showcasing the children’s discipline, strength and confidence, the celebration also featured an impressive Taekwondo performance. The young performers displayed remarkable coordination and enthusiasm, earning warm appreciation from the audience.

The celebration was honoured by the presence of School Principal, Sister Shanta Fernandes; School Manager, Sister Isabel Fernandes; and Pre-Primary In-charge, Sister Maria Meeta. Their gracious presence and encouragement added warmth and significance to the occasion.

The celebration concluded on a joyful and patriotic note, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of love for the nation, respect for its heroes and pride in being Indian. It was truly a memorable celebration that beautifully reflected the spirit of freedom, unity and patriotism among our little ones.
