Carmel Convent honoured Mother Veronica, foundress of the Apostolic Carmel on the Institute Day with a special assembly and later by organizing a throwball match between the teachers of the High School and the combined team of Primary and Pre Primary teachers. The first match was won by the team of Primary and Pre Primary teachers, whereas the High School won the second match. In the third and final match, the team comprising Primary and Pre Primary teachers won by two points. The students cheered the teachers as they showcased their sporty side. The school principal Sister Shanta presented trophies to the winning team.
