Orientation Programme for Classes XI & XII on 06.04.2026
 

Carmel Convent School organized an orientation programme for the parents of Classes XI and XII students. The programme commenced with an address by the Class Teachers of XI and XII, who briefed the parents about the school norms, code of conduct, and discipline. Emphasis was laid on punctuality, regular attendance, examination structure, promotion policy, proper uniform, respectful behavior, and adherence to school rules.

A special session was conducted by Ma’am Preeti Swami on NSS (National Service Scheme) and Parenting. She elaborated on the significance of community service in shaping responsible citizens and encouraged students to actively participate in NSS activities. She also addressed parents, sharing valuable insights on supporting adolescents during this crucial academic phase and fostering a balanced environment at home.

Another informative segment of the programme included a demonstration by Ma’am Harpreet Malvai on the Nascorp School App, where parents were guided on how to effectively use the platform. All the features of this App were explained to ensure seamless connectivity between school and parents. She concluded the session by emphasizing the importance of using AI ethically, guiding parents to use these tools responsibly, avoid over-dependence, maintain academic honesty, and respect originality while leveraging technology. She suggested some latest AI-powered learning platforms for personalized learning, and academic efficiency.

The orientation programme concluded successfully, providing clarity on school expectations and inspiring students and parents to embrace disciplined, responsible, and technology-enabled learning.
