On 5^th September 2025, two teachers from Carmel were felicitated by Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria on the ocassion of Teachers Day. Ma’am Meenakshi won the State award whereas Ma’am Harpreet Malvai won the Commendation award.  

Dr. Meenakshi Jindal, PGT Physics and has been at the forefront of Scientific Research in School. She has more than 40 published research papers and 2 published books. She is presently working on multiple sustainability projects with the United Nations and other international agencies. As ATL incharge she has successfully conducted several Technology fests and attended many national and international conferences. 

Ma’am Harpreet Malvai is PGT Computer Science at Carmel and a Resource Person with CBSE COE Delhi, Chandigarh and Panchkula. She is a subject expert with CBSE for Web Application and has co-authored the CBSE book for this subject.  She also conducted a workshop to prepare hundreds of girls for the means cum merit scholarships for 7 years. She has 8 published books including the first and only Computer Science book in Braille which is being used in the Institute for the Blind since 2023.
