On 2nd August, Dr. Sister Lizanne delivered a talk on “The Teacher’s Role in Today’s Changing World”. She highlighted the role of a teacher beyond imparting academics as a mentor, guide, and role model. Emphasizing qualities like adaptability, empathy, and continuous learning, she explained how education must evolve with time. Sister Lizzane encouraged teachers to nurture values, critical thinking, and life skills in students. The session was both inspiring and insightful and a great roadmap for teachers at Carmel.
