Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh celebrated Value Education Day on 30 January 2026. The day started with a meaningful morning assembly dedicated to reinforcing the importance of moral values and ethical living among students, aligning with the school’s mission of holistic education.

On this special occasion, students from each class beautifully depicted a value that had been taught and nurtured throughout the academic year. Values such as honesty, kindness, respect, discipline, empathy, cooperation, and responsibility were presented through a variety of creative expressions including skits, role plays, speeches, poems, charts, and short presentations. The students showcased a deep understanding of these values and demonstrated how they can be practiced in everyday life.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the sharing of lunch boxes, where all students came together to share their food with classmates. This activity fostered a spirit of sharing, unity, and togetherness allowing students to experience the joy of giving and caring for one another

Teachers guided the students throughout the program, emphasizing the relevance of values in shaping character and building a compassionate society. The celebration served as a gentle reminder that values are not just lessons in textbooks but practices to be lived every day.
