The students of Carmel Convent School accorded a warm farewell to their Music teacher, Ma’am Vandna Sharma. The programme was organised to acknowledge her invaluable contribution to the cultural life of the school over a dedicated span of fourteen years. The tribute featured melodious vocal performances, self-composed poems, graceful dance presentations, and heartfelt video messages from her former students. A special performance by the school choir comprising her favourite songs made her extremely sentimental.
In her address, Ma’am Vandna reflected on her enriching association with the institution and recalled mentoring countless students. She expressed her gratitude to the Principal, management, colleagues, and students for organising such an elaborate farewell and recited a self-composed poem to convey her affection for the Carmel family. The programme concluded with the address of the Principal, Sr. Shanta Fernandes, who felicitated Ms. Vandana Sharma and admired her exemplary service, and lasting contribution to Carmel Convent School. The ceremony ended on a note of gratitude and admiration, marking a memorable farewell.
