On July 1, 2025 the school reopened after the summer break and a short assembly was organized by the school cabinet to welcome new members of the Carmel family. Shaunya Sood, the SPL took to stage to welcome Sister Shanta Fernandes, the  principal, Sister Shanti, primary incharge and Sister Meeta pre-primary incharge. She also welcomed back Sister Isabel Fernandes, who continues to be the school Manager and Sister Premalini who will continue as Vice Principal. A special welcome was extended to Sister Maria Lizanne who also joined the Carmel community.  The assembly began with prayers and intentions followed by the lighting of the ceremonious lamp. The school choir sang a welcome song, after which there were two energetic dance performances. Speaking on this occasion Sister Shanta  thanked the cabinet and teachers incharge for the warm welcome programme and urged the students to strive for excellence in each aspect of school life.
