On 1st May a special programme was held in the school auditorium for the workers. This event was organized by the students of class XII under the guidance of their class teachers.  The day began a soulful hymn as the workers entered the auditorium. They were given a diya to place on a platter near the stage, while the hymn was being played. Students of class II and class XII prayed for the health and well being of the workers and their families. Next a poem dedicated to workers was recited, following which was a medley of foot tapping songs and dances to popular songs. The workers enthusiastically took part in the fun games and quizzes organized for them. They were invited to stage for a ramp walk while the students broke out in loud applause. Each worker received a gift on their special day.
